My friend and I are so looking forward to the weekend. We have heard that our favorite store has prom dresses on sale and so we are going to try some on. We are hoping that we will find some things that we like and will then be able to convince our parents to pay for the prom dresses. I think it could be hard as obviously we do not share the same taste as our parents on this sort of thing. We are hoping that if we find something which is a great bargain that they will buy them anyway because they are saving so much money and will not insist that they are too conservative, too frilly or too un-cool! I am not sure that it will work but it is worth a go! I am hoping that f I tell them I found a discount prom dress and explain how much it was reduced form and how much of a saving they have made then they may even give me the money to buy it without looking. I am not after something which is too revealing or anything so hopefully they will be happy. I guess I will just have to try and see.
