  1. Try this site: http://tinyurl.com/2zmu8m it can make you good money and it is easy to do. There are no fees and it pays out every Friday. It is one of the few work at home websites that has made me good money consistently. It makes me $1200-$1500 a month. Or try one of these other good work from home websites on this site: http://tinyurl.com/27bf83
  2. Welcome to the workforce. That is why it’s called work. If it was fun it would be called play. If you are offered a better job you accept the better job but tell them you cant start for two weeks. You then tell your current job you are leaving in two weeks. That is the standard honorable and acceptable thing to do.
  3. Do the job Your 16 and it’s a paycheck. If you feel that scared of the location you should have not accepted the job but you can tell the guy that you feel unsafe and seek another job. It is not rude to be honest. You have a right to have fears!
  4. Hey 16,
I have been in your shoes before. If you are not comfortabe with what you are doing you need to get out of it. Staying with it in an invironment of older people that you do not connect with can be tough. DO NOT feel bad if you need to quit, without a job or not. Not being comfortable only creates stress for you will only make things worse for you. Think of something you truely feel you want to pursue for a possible career and GO FOR IT! I was managing a business when I was 18 and still in high school and have been in management ever since and this year started my own business and absolutely love it! If you need any other encouragement send me an email and i wish you the best.
  5. You will have many jobs that you don’t like or are not excited about. BUt always be grateful that you have a job. You should not work anywhere you dont feel safe though. You do not need the money bad enough to risk yourself. Go to a temp agency if you have them in the area. It is a great way to go to a job for a few days or so and then move on. It gives you alot of experience at many different things, it’s fun if you don’t have to have a constant income. It will help you to see what you want to do as far as if you prefer customer service, sales or being in the background. Main thing that you need to do is learn how to interview. Mastering the interview is huge, it is why people do or don’t get jobs. Go on Monster and read the articles frequently, make your resume interesting and be confident. Interview for jobs you are not qualified for (within reason) and ask the interviewer how you did - what they think of your inteviewing skills - it shows maturity and your desire to learn, grow and succeed. You probably won’t get most of the jobs you interview for but they will all teach you something if you pay attention. Go in with the attitude that you will benefit the company, always research the employer before you go in, be confident and have fun. There is nothing to be scared of..what is the worst that could happen..you can learn alot by failure. Don’t dread it, learn from it. I hope this helps you to not settle. If you learn the art of interviewing you will land a job you aren’t qualified for that pays better so it will all be worth it. As for you feeling bad about finding another job, trust me, they will survive just fine. They would not hesitate to let you go if they wanted to. Alway give at least 3 days notice, if you can give more, then give more. Don’t be scared of wanting to better yourself, be honest, don’t burn bridges and be true to yourself.
